About This Special Issue
The demonstration of the basic properties of nanoscale materials has fueled the current growth of nanosciences. This has spawned new fields of research in a slew of labs, as well as the creation of fluids with unique properties known as "nanofluids," which are made up of nanoparticles suspended in a base fluid with a diameter of less than 100 nanometers. Nanofluids are used in a variety of applications, including electronic component cooling, industrial cooling, building heating and pollution control, nuclear cooling, energy storage, solar absorption, friction reduction, magnetic sealing, antibacterial operation, microreactor intensification, and so on. They have an effect on many nanoscale applications with specific characteristics such as high sensitivity, high reliability, excellent thermal conductivity, low power consumption, faster response, and so on....With an exponential growth of publications showing that nanofluids give an unbeatable heat transfer coefficient, the application of nanofluids in the improvement of heat transfer has recently been introduced and popularized.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Modelling of Micro/nanofluid Systems
  2. Thermal Management of Electronic Circuits
  3. Thermal Storage Systems
  4. Solar Thermal Applications
  5. Different Types of Heat Exchangers
  6. Convection Heat Transfer Inside Cavities Filled with Nanofluids
  7. Extraction of Geothermal Power and Other Energy Sources
  8. Porous Media
